Interceding for others

Be seated in a quiet place.

Quieten yourself by breathing in and out.

Relax yourself in the presence of God.

You may use your prayer bead.

As you say, ‘Jesus, son of the living God,’ breathe in.

And as you say, ‘have mercy on us,’ breathe out.

As you do this you may push the bead too.

As you call on the name of Jesus feel the power of Jesus come over you.

Be relaxed, enjoy a sense of bliss within.

When you are sufficiently concentrated and feel the power of Jesus,

remember a person that you would like to pray for.

Imagine this person come before you, you put your hand on them,

you pass on the bliss that you feel on to that person.

When you have stayed on with a person for a minute or so,

welcome another person and continue in the same way.

Now and then focus yourself on the presence of God,

and on the power in the name of Jesus.

Continue blessing other people: wish for them the same bliss that you enjoy.

End the prayer after thirty to forty minutes.
