Dates: From 1st to 5th March. Time – 5pm to 8pm – ONLINE
(Using a Learning Management System and Zoom live classes)
Costs: Ksh.5000/- | Ksh.4500 for members and returning students.
Certificate of participation will be provided for those who submit some simple assignments.
This is a basic course for a future Certificate in Positive Psychology.

1.2. Models of Wellbeing:
- Subjective, Psych, Social wellbeing, PERMA
2.1. Naming feelings & Layers of Affective States:
- Feeling, Mood, Feeling, Emotions, Appetite
2.2 Correlates of Happiness:
- Wealth, Age, Gender, Education, etc
3.1. Response to Negative Affect:
- Stress, Coping, Resilience, Burnout
3.2. Posttraumatic Growth
4.1. Character Strengths as Ingredients of Wellbeing
- Various models of Values and CS; Schwartz, Linley, African models, and VIA
4.2. Character Strengths Interventions
- Mindfulness, Savouring, Gratitude, Forgiveness.
5.1. Positive Affective States 1:
- Positivity, Intrinsic Motivation, Flow
5.2. Positive Affective States 2:
- Passion, Purpose, Personal Mission Statement
